TRAHC's 26th Annual Student Juried Exhibition

The Regional Arts Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM until 4 PM. Admission is always free.

The Student Juried Exhibition has been a part of TRAHC's regional art shows for the last 26 years and features art from elementary, middle, and high school students in the Four States Area.


In 2017 there were 555 entries from 10 high schools, 14 middle schools, 8 elementary schools, and 3 private instructors.
Out of those, 175 were accepted into the exhibit: 50 Elementary entries, 55 Middle School entries, and 70 high school entries.


27 of those pieces were recognized for outstanding work. Please see below.



2017 Elementary Division (K-4th grade)

Best of Show- Madelynne Adams of Morriss Elementary for “Disoriented”

First Place- Jakia Peoples of College Hill Elementary for “Princess Jakia”

Second Place- Brandon Foreback for “Bottles II”

Third Place- Maddie Murray of Trice Elementary for “Emotional Downpour”

Honorable Mention- Anna Claire Barr from Private Instructor Jeannie Edwards for “Happy Dog”

Honorable Mention- Aidan Harris of College Hill Elementary for “Overcast at Pinnacle Mountain”

Merit Award- Milaha Walton from Private Instructor Jeannie Edwards for “Shades of Blue”

Merit Award- Ella Dobbins of Pleasant Grove Intermediate for “Sprinkles Party”

People’s Choice Award- Aidan Harris of College Hill Elementary for “Hidden Picture”



2017 Middle School Division (5th-8th grade)

First Place- Riley White from Private Instructor Jeannie Edwards for “Self-Portrait”

Third Place- Lillian McGhee of Chisum Middle School for “Lilly of the Valley”

Honorable Mention- Alexia Jones for “Where are the Flowers”

Merit Award- Madison Davis of Pleasant Grove Intermediate for “Living Outdoors”

Honorable Mention- Rachel Johnson of Pleasant Grove High School for “Child’s Play”

Merit Award- Jenna Mitchell of Texas High School for “Aftermath”

Merit Award- McKenzie Brown of Texas High School for “Diversity”

We also randomly selected two students from each division to win an art supply gift bag.
