A Christmas Carol - The Musical
A Christmas Carol - Musical Version
A powerful story of redemption, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, has enchanted audiences the world over with its simple message of selfless giving. Ebenezer Scrooge, a most unrepentant, miserly fellow, is made to see the light as he survives a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of his own Christmases: Past, Present, and Future.
This new adaptation of Dickens’ ever popular classic fills the stage with veteran Broadway actors, lush costumes, stunning sets, music, dance, and a timeless message. With beloved traditional carols of the season included, A Christmas Carol is an enchanting way to begin the holiday festivities in your community.
Directed by Carl Rajotte (director/choreographer), in his 11th season as Artistic Director for the Palace Theatre, the classic comes to life in a fully staged musical, the likes of which you've never experienced. Recently, Mr. Rajotte directed the highly acclaimed productions of A Christmas Carol, The Four Piano Men, Legally Blonde, Chicago, Royalty of Rock ‘n’ Pop, Lend Me a Tenor, Guys and Dolls, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. He has also directed sold out productions of CATS and Grease. Mr. Rajotte also enjoyed a two year residency with American Music Theatre.
The management team at the award-winning Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH oversees this incredible holiday production. With quality productions of Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and now the ever popular Christmas Carol, it is easy to see how Palace Theatre was voted Best Historic Theatre in the Country. The Palace Theatre was selected as the 2012 Outstanding Historic Theatre by the League of Historic American Theatres. The award celebrates excellence in preservation, restoration and sustainable operation.
