TRAHC Employee Nominated for TAEA "Museum Division Outstanding Art Educator" Award

Our very own Amy Donohoe, TRAHC's Director of Visual Arts and Community Programs, has been nominated for Texas Art Education Association's 2016 "Museum Division Outstanding Art Educator" Award.

This award provide opportunities to:
-Recognize excellence in the many outstanding members of the TAEA organization.
-Collect attentions on quality art education throughout Texas.
-Advocate the standard of quality art education throughout the state of Texas.
-Develop support of those individuals who deliberately provide quality art education consistently in Texas.
-Provide tangible evidence of ongoing achievements in art programs statewide.
-Earn collegial respect within divisions and professional learning communities.

TAEA strives to honor their hard working membership through recognition of their continued efforts and significant achievements in art education at the local, state, regional, and national level.

If Amy is selected for this award, she will be recognized at our awards ceremony held at the TAEA convention in Dallas. The awards ceremony is from 2-4 pm on Friday, November 18th.
