New Exhibit by Arkansas Artist Donnie Copeland

Arkansas artist, Donnie Copeland works primarily with painted paper to produce non-objective, collaged canvases that emphasize pattern, texture, color and mark.

His work will be on display in the Secured Galleries of the Regional Arts Center from November 9, 2017 through January 13, 2018.

The Regional Arts Center is located at 321 Fourth Street, Texarkana, TX, 75501, on the corner of Texas Blvd and Fourth Street.

Open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM until 4 PM, admission is always free.



Donnie Copeland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio arts from Ouachita Baptist University and then continued his education at the University of Dallas where he obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting. Copeland currently serves as Associate Professor of Visual Arts and Chair of the Department of Visual Arts at Ouachita Baptist University where he teaches painting, drawing, and art history. He and his wife and three children live in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
