"Travel with Me" - The Art of Nancy Hall Martin
On Display November 14, 2019 – January 25, 2020
The Regional Arts Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM until 4 PM. Admission is always free.
Biography
Nancy Hall Martin always dabbled in art, even as a child, but did not get serious about it until she was in her late 20’s and her husband encouraged her to pursue her interest in art. Inspired by the “old masters”, she is mainly self -taught, but has painted with many wonderful artists over the years, some of them local. Inspiration for her works also comes from observation of the world and the people around her.
Artist Statement
According to Martin, “I try to observe and find that little spark of color, a ray of warm light, or an expression of joy or delight. I love our beautiful world, and feel so blessed that I can put onto canvas what I see.”
