SUMMARY:Wall Shrine Workshop with Chris Thomas
DESCRIPTION:Great for your home or garden 🏠 🪴 \nJoin Chris Thomas in creating a customized ceramic wall shrine using micaceous clay and hand-applied/hand-done embellishments. Students will create one shrine that finishes to approximately 8-10″ tall. \nThis class will meet Tuesday\, April 7 from 6 – 8pm in the Calhoun Studio (518 Pine Street\, Texarkana\, TX 75501) at TRAHC’s ArtSpace. Students are expected to return to the ArtSpace for pickup upon notification. Works left 30 days after the pickup notification will be discarded. \nMaterials and tools are provided by the artist and TRAHC. DESCRIPTION:Come learn to create art with metal using welding\, cutting and blacksmithing.  Please bring leather gloves and safety glasses. Everything else will be provided. \nThe spring 2026 session of metalsmithing will take place on six Tuesdays in March and April from 6 – 9pm. Class Dates: \n– March 24 \n– March 31 \n– April 7 \n– April 14 \n– April 21 \n– April 28 \nThese sessions will take place at 612 S. Lelia Avenue\, Texarkana\, TX\, 75501 (LeGrand & Sons Welding and Iron). Registration is required for this course. Parents and guardians are required for individuals 12-18 years.
