DESCRIPTION:What is the Mayo Arts Maker Space? \nTRAHC’s Mayo Furniture Arts MakerSpace is an exploratory studio experience designed for artists/makers of all ages and skill levels. This open\, hands-on environment invites participants to create\, experiment\, and explore a wide variety of unusual art materials through open-ended projects rather than step-by-step instructions. \nUnlike a traditional “make and take\,” the Mayo Arts MakerSpace emphasizes discovery\, critical thinking\, and creative problem solving. Makers engage with artistic challenges that have multiple solutions\, encouraging perseverance\, curiosity\, and personal expression. Experiences can be individual or collaborative\, allowing Makers to learn from both independent exploration and shared discovery. \nMaterials\, prompts\, and visual inspirations rotate regularly\, including seasonal and holiday influences.
