Join Darlene Taylor for a 4-part class where participants will sew and create a Victorian costume! Darlene will instruct students using an 1890s truly Victorian pattern to make a gilded age jacket and skirt, as well as an overskirt. Classes will meet four Wednesdays in October from 1 – 4pm in the 3rd floor classroom at the Regional Arts Center (321 W. 4th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501). Classes will meet: – Oct. 9 – Oct. 16 – Oct. 23 – Oct. 30 Instructor will provide fabric and thread and students are expected to provide their own sewing machines, buttons, notions, zippers, and various smaller items. Some mannequins will be provided.
