CONTRIBUTED INCOME COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR TRAHC
How is the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council funded?
Accounting for slightly over ten percent of TRAHC’s operating funds, memberships from area citizens and businesses are integral to TRAHC's ability to generate support from outside funders, who take this as a symbolic measure of the community’s support of all that TRAHC does. Memberships range from $25 to $10,000 and have various benefits depending on the membership level.

Women for the Arts (WFA)
TRAHC's ability to succeed is directly related not only to money, but to human resources. WFA was founded in 1984 as the organization that could generate both human and dollar resources to maximize TRAHC’s efforts. Since this support organization’s inception in 1984, WFA has raised and contributed over $500,000 to TRAHC for programs and operations, and has been responsible for thousands and thousands of volunteer hours valued at many hundreds of thousands of dollars of in-kind support. Open to all, this is a working volunteer support group for TRAHC programs and projects. To join, call 903-792-8681.
Party with Picassos
The signature party for WFA, this occurs annually in the spring. It is an auction featuring works by the unlikeliest of artists from throughout the city. "Celebrity" bankers, superintendents, mayors, lawyers, businessmen and more. They are paired with local artists as coaches to create original works of art. The works by both celebrities and artists are auctioned during a festive evening of music, good food, and great fun. It's the annual fundraising event for TRAHC.
