Join Arkansas artist and educator Sue Pico (Art Lady of Arkansas) for a Saturday Ukrainian Egg Workshop. This workshop will take place Saturday, March 15 from 10am-3pm at TRAHC’s ArtSpace (518 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX 75501). There will be a 1-hour break from 12-1pm and participants should either bring their lunch or complete their lunch within the hour break. Sue will discuss the history and techniques of Ukrainian Egg dyeing and waxwork, introduce tools and terminology such as kistka and the classic Ukrainian star design, and lead participants through the completion of their very own unique dyed egg.

Participants may get wax or dye on their clothes and are expected to dress accordingly. All materials will be provided by the artist and TRAHC. Tuition is only refundable if less than 6 individuals register. This class is open to individuals 18+.
