TRAHC’s ArtSpace is a dynamic creative facility in downtown Texarkana featuring the Mayo Arts MakerSpace, ceramics and visual arts studios, and a full calendar of hands-on classes and workshops for all ages.

Operated by the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, ArtSpace is a home for makers, artists, and learners of every skill level. The space is also available for private rentals, perfect for creative gatherings, events, or group workshops. Come create, connect, and explore your creativity in a welcoming, art-filled environment.

Dedicated to John C. and Ruth Huston Calhoun, parents of Ruth Ellen Calhoun Whitt and grandparents of Carlynn Whitt and Emma Whitt Nesbit. Offers collage, printmaking, painting, and mixed media — current host studio for homeschool student creative series, monthly Clay Club for area youth, and additional nontraditional media including polymer clay and batik.

Clay Eichler Ceramics Studio

Get your hands dirty.
Fully equipped pottery studio with wheels, a slab roller, commercial glazes, house glazes, and an electric kiln. Classes for all ages and skill levels — handbuilding and wheel throwing, introductory kit classes for beginners, and open independent study for more advanced artists.
